Surgery Scheduling
All surgery is scheduled at our Minneapolis and St. Paul offices. Questions or requests regarding the scheduling of your child's surgery should be directed to the surgery scheduling coordinator at (612) 813-8000 in Minneapolis or (651) 220-6040 in St. Paul. Normally, information regarding your child's scheduled surgery is available within 3 days following your office visit. You will be contacted by phone or letter when the arrangements have been completed. Please do not call before that time unless you have a question or request.

Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call in advance so we may reserve time for your child. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. We request that the day of your scheduled visit you call to verify your appointment and to be sure your physician hasn't been delayed by an emergency.

Emergency Care
Always call the Minneapolis office (612) 813-8000. Our office staff will make the necessary arrangements for the first available physician to speak to you or see your child if necessary. After regular office hours you will reach our answering service. They will immediately contact the physician on call, who will make every effort to return your call promptly. Please try to keep your telephone line clear until the physician calls.

Telephone Calls
Our physicians and nurses maintain a busy surgery schedule, as well as providing office hours at our 9 office locations. Since they are frequently away from the office, they may not be available when you call. However, one of our physicians or nurses will return your call as soon as possible.

Fees & Insurance
Every effort is being made to keep down the cost of medical care. We believe that our fees for services provided are fair and reasonable and they are available upon request. We are more than happy to help you with an estimate of what your surgical costs may be. Please remember that, even if you have insurance coverage, you are still responsible for the payment your account.

For your convenience, our office has adopted a system by which we submit our charges directly to your insurance company. For this reason, we need to have your complete insurance information on file. Please provide us with all policy numbers, addresses, and any claim forms that might be necessary.

Please remember that some insurance companies do not cover all medical costs. Some pay fixed allowances for certain procedures and others pay a percentage of the charge. It is your responsibility to pay any deductible, co-payment, or other balance not paid by your insurance company. We will make every effort to help you receive the maximum benefits available to you under your policy. Remember, however, that the primary relationship is between you, the insured, and your insurance company. For patients who do not have insurance coverage, we request that you make the necessary arrangements for payment with our billing department.
